2009 Jeju International Composition Competition
The JEJU International Composition Competition for 2009 is being organized by the Modern Arts. The purpose of the competition is to find new quality chamber music compositions for national and international forums. The award-winning concert, which will be held at the Jeju Arts Center, where the results will be announced, will serve as the culmination of the competition, in the spring of 2010. KCTV will broadcast the concert.
Deadline for entries by e-mail before October 31, 2009.
The prizes will be as follows:
• 1,000 USD for First in each category
• 500 USD for Second in each category
• 200 USD for Third in each category and special prize.
The composition must be submitted along with an entry fee of 50 USD.
