We are pleased to announce that the last date for receiving preliminary entries for KKMA’s Children’s Drawing Contest is postponed to 30 October 2009.
The objective of this contest is to promote a culture of nonviolence and peace by raising awareness
among young children about these concepts. The drawing can be your imagination supporting world
peace as its main theme illustrating one or several of themes like respect for life, rejecting violence,
sharing and living together, preserving planet, etc. etc. Your imagination is the limit.
STEPS TO PARTICIPATE
1. Draw a picture in an A4 size paper based on the theme above.
2. Write your name and school information on the back of your drawing.
3. Fill out a contest entry form. You may use photocopy of the printed form or download the
same from KKMA website (www.kkma.net).
4. Staple your entry form to the top of your drawing.
5. Submit your picture with the contest entry form as soon as possible, but no later than
October 30, 2009 through your school or to the drawing collection centers listed in the
brochure.
This is the preliminary event schedule for magicians and assistants of the 13. World Deaf Magicians Festival in Cattolica on the Adriatic Coast, near Rimini, Italy 2010. Participation in the Festival Contest is restricted to persons who are deaf, defined as a hearing loss of at least 65 decibels (dB) in the better ear.
