Online Competitions to Win

CONTEST PERIOD: The contest commences at 12:00 AM EDT on Tuesday, September 8th, 2009 and ends at 4:59 PM EDT on Monday, November 2nd, 2009 (the “Contest Period”). The random prize draw will take place at 5:00 PM EDT (the “Draw Time”) on Monday, November 2nd, 2009 regarding the “All Voters” prize as outlined below. The winners of the “Voter’s Choice” prizes as outlined below will be determined by 5:00 PM EDT on Monday, November 9th, 2009.

PRIZES: There are three (3) “Voter’s Choice” prizes, each of which consists of a one-time, upfront deposit of $1,000 made by Northern Credit Union into a new RESP (the “Plan) held with one of Northern’s partner trustees, established for the child submitting a winning drawing, who will be enrolled in the Plan as its beneficiary, with his or her parent(s) or guardian(s) as the subscriber or joint subscribers, as the case may be. A winning drawing will be that drawing which receives the largest number of valid votes as favourite drawing in one of three age categories (under age 6, ages 6-8 and ages 9-12 as of the creation of the drawing) at www.northernkidscalendar.com during the contest period. The Plan is a Family Registered Education Savings Plan, and contributions to the Plan are invested by the subscriber or joint subscribers, as the case may be. Deposits and the income earned on the deposits can be used to assist with the costs of a post-secondary education for the beneficiary. The final value of the Plan cannot be predicted or guaranteed as it will depend on several factors, including the amount of income earned in the Plan and the amount of any administration fees deducted.

To submit a drawing, you must be 12 years of age or younger as of Monday, November 2nd, 2009. Children of employees or directors of Northern Credit Union are not eligible to make a submission.
