All IDOL 2010 Contestants will be Winners. All Contestants will Win a Professionally Produced Music Video (Value $500.00-$1,500.00) of their Performance. The National Academy of Music is pleased to announce a call for submissions for the ‘International Music Prize for Excellence in Composition 2010’, an international competition for composers of all ages and nationalities. Each entry consists of an original composition, an audio file of the composition, an entry form and an entry fee.
The Academy’s artistic committee, a team of composers, performers, theorists and musicologists, will evaluate all submissions and select the winning entries. All entries must be received by us no later than September 3, 2010. Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish, but each entry constitutes a separate submission and requires its own original composition, audio file, entry form and entry fee.

This Competition was founded in 1982 under the artistic leadership of Josef Gingold to discover major violin talent and nurture the careers of those identified. Every four years, music lovers from all parts of the globe focus their attention on “The Indianapolis.” Now regarded as one of the most respected music competitions in the world, our Laureates uphold this tradition of excellence as soloists, chamber musicians and orchestral leaders in today’s foremost cultural centers.
The 8th Quadrennial Competition will be held in Indianapolis September 10 through 26, 2010.
The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is an annual song contest whose mission is to provide the opportunity for both aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in a professional, international arena.

After recent discussions with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, we are thrilled to announce the dates for the next Windland Smith Rice International Awards Exhibition. Beginning April 2011 and running through September, the category Winners and a selection of Highly Honored images from the 2010 competition will be on display as large-format prints and HD video.
