Online Competitions to Win

“Reflections in Pastel”, a national competition presented by the Arkansas Pastel Society. $5,000 in awards to be presented. Jurored and judged by national pastelist, Doug Dawson, PSA. Exhibition at the Terry Mansion in Little Rock Arkansas. Reception the evening of December 4th. Critique the morning of December 4th. Submissions due to the Arkansas Pastel Society by September 20, 2009.

Artist may submit up to two (2) pieces of work.

Works will be juried by digital images.

File format must be .jpg. Only images entered should be on CD. Individual file size should be between 300kb and 5 mg. Resolution should be 300 dpi. The file name should be artist’s last name_first initial_entry number (ex: davis_r_1). Label CD with name and e-mail address. CD’s will not be returned.

Each CD must be accompanied by a completed entry form and entry fee. Fee is $35 for non-APS members and $30 for APS members for up to two (2) paintings.
