Brescia International Violin Competition

The Twelfth City of Brescia International Violin Competition will be held in Brescia from October 21 to 30, 2010. The competition is open to violinists of all nationalities born after October 30, 1970. The First and Second Prize Winners of previous Editions of the City of Brescia International Violin Competition may not participate.

The application form must be sent to the Secretariat of the competition at the following address:

The application form can be sent also filling the form published on the website www.concorsoviolinobrescia.org
The deadline for application is an June 30, 2010 postmark on the envelope.

PRIZES (after taxes)
Three official prizes shall be awarded:
City of Brescia International Violin Competition (indivisible):
€ 12,000.00 awarded to the winner of the competition;
“Romano Romanini” Prize: € 3,500.00 awarded to second place;
“Vittoria Alata” Winged Victory Prize: € 2,500.00 awarded to third place.
The participants to the First Final Round get € 500.00 as reimbursement.

The winner of the “City of Brescia International Violin Competition” Grand Prize shall be guaranteed an important series of concerts in Italy and abroad, as well as participation in Brescia’s “October with Great Violinists” Festival in October, 2011.
